Worldwide Energy Honored with Green Business Award

July 1, 2013

Lenexa, KS – July 26, 2012: Worldwide Energy was one of fifteen businesses in Johnson County who received the 2012 Green Business Award this year. These businesses were awarded for their ongoing “green” initiatives including recycling and reducing. Worldwide Energy was recognized as a Gold recipient for the recycling of materials during all of
our energy-efficient projects.

Worldwide Energy recycles more than 95% of all removed materials from our projects. In addition, we work with vendors to reduce the amount of cardboard and packaging of products
wherever possible.

“This award was a great honor as we pride ourselves in helping clients become more energy efficient, and we are excited to be a part of a growing group of businesses that continue to make a difference,” said Hunter Kasten of Worldwide Energy. Awardees were formally recognized by the Solid Waste Management Committee at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on July 20, 2012.
