The Green Business Award from Johnson County Department of Health and Environment

Worldwide Energy was one of several businesses in Johnson County who received the 2012 Green Business Award.

These businesses were recognized for their ongoing "green" initiatives including recycling, and reducing.

Worldwide Energy was classified as a Gold recipient for our recycling of materials during all of our energy-efficient projects.

Aside from helping other businesses become more energy efficient, Worldwide Energy reduces our waste by recycling boxes and trash on all of our job sites. This award was a great way to get recognized, and we are happy to be a part of a great group of businesses who are making a difference.

Awardees were formally recognized by the Solid Waste Management Committee at the Board of County Commissioners meeting on Thursday, July 20.
