The Shops at Grand Avenue's parking garage recently got an LED lighting upgrade. The Milwaukee-based parking garage replaced 986 metal halide 150W lamps with LED parking vaportight fixtures. This will result in a reduced energy consumption by more than 66 percent.
"The VPL’s efficacy of between 97 and 103 lumens per watt, combined with the daylight and occupancy sensors throughout the parking garage, is expected to save the facility over $134,000 in energy costs and 1,344,963 kWh every year."
This is another great example of how a lighting retrofit can help reduce energy use and utility expenses. Worldwide Energy provides an efficient lighting maintenance service that'll help your business keep the lights on. Call our offices at 913-310-0705 for more information.
